Here is a DIY version of a Montessori Spindle Box [1-5] which is intended to teach the difference between the numeral/Number on a wooden box & quantity/holding actual spindles in a 🖐🏻hand. While holding spindles in a hand, the child can feel substance: that 2 is not a much while 9 is a lot!.

Here is a fun DIY to 🔁reuse your milk caps and create a festive ☘️St Patrick’s Day inspired 🌈Rainbow fine motor activity. .

HOW👉🏻Glue blue cardstock over a 📦 cardboard to resemble the ☁️ sky. Draw a vertical line in the middle and using a glue gun, glue horizontally 7 caps to the ⏩right and 7 caps to the⏪ left - since there are 7 colors in a 🌈Rainbow. Offer your child colorful pom -poms to fill the rainbow. Small children will enjoy using ✋🏻hands while practicing 👌🏻pincer grip. Offer tongs to older ones [2-5Yo] to further exercise dexterity and 6+ yo might even attempt🍜 chopsticks. . A child can do this activity as many times as they wish. There are just 2 rules: follow the rainbow colors (one color per ray) and proceed from⏩ left to right ('Left to Right Progression' is a very important concept that is not innately/naturally learned and is often overlooked. It is the concept of writing, reading, counting and more. With regular practice your child will acquire this skill, which will help in many areas including literacy and numeracy. .

Ohh goodness 😱Have we just survived the crash😫Wow! How vulnerable our virtual "reality" is! It's very REAL to us all, but it can also be turned into dust in no time 😣.
.
Well, back to ☘️St Patrick's theme @tagfromtheheart here is a super easy #slime recipe:
1. Add 1/2 cup of liquid @elmersproducts glue into a bowl.
2. Add 1/2 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)
3. Add 💚coloring/💰confetti/✨glitter +
4. [last] ACTIVATOR add 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution so that slime begins to bind.
5. Mix well with a fork 🍴 until slime no longer sticks to your hands and the bowl .
6. ⚠️if it's too sticky, add just a few more squirts of contact lens solution until it’s just right. Be careful as too much will result in slime becoming brittle, snapping and not stretchy at all. .
Have 💚FUN!!!
