Hey there, sweet friend! Can you believe it’s already March 1st? Time truly does fly, but hey, that’s what makes life exciting, right? Especially having a Leap Year! So, as we step into a new month, let’s take a moment to appreciate the little things and celebrate the fact that we survived February. And guess what? We even got a bonus day this year – February 29th!
Now, I know you might be thinking, “Wait, what’s the big deal about an extra day?” Well, my friend, that extra day is the result of a leap year, which happens every four years. It’s like a little gift from the universe to balance out our calendars. You see, our Earth takes approximately 365.25 days to orbit the sun. To keep our calendars in sync with the seasons, we add an extra day to the calendar every four years, giving us 366 days instead of the usual 365.
Leap Year
So, this year, on February 29th, we essentially got a bonus of 24 hours – a whole extra day to do whatever we pleased. Did you make the most of it? I’m curious, what did you do with your leap year day? Did you embark on a spontaneous adventure, catch up on some much-needed rest, or maybe just enjoy a leisurely day of Netflix and chill?
For me, it was an extra day to prepare for the New March Monthly Kids Activities Plan, so I got an extra 24 hours to make it extra special! But still, we ate dinner at 22 pm, which was ridiculously late! Lesson learned: whether you get an extra day or not, time management shall be a priority! Lol
But I’m dying to know – did you seize the opportunity to create lasting memories, or did you opt for a well-deserved day of relaxation? Let’s swap stories and share the joy of our leap year-day adventures.
Starting a Newsletter
On another note, I wanted to bring up the idea of starting a “Weekly Recap” newsletter in an email format. How cool would it be to share highlights, discoveries, and even the mundane moments that make life uniquely ours? I envision sharing the week’s happenings, recommending books, movies, or recipes, and maybe even sharing a hilarious meme or two.
So, what do you think? Are you in for a weekly rendezvous through our “Weekly Recap” newsletter? Let me know your thoughts, and in the meantime, here’s to March 1st, our extra day, and the endless possibilities that lie ahead! Cheers to making every moment count!
