Christmas Tree Bubble Wrap Craft
Looking for fun Christmas activities to keep your little ones entertained this holiday season? Try this Christmas tree craft that’s perfect for young children and older kids alike! Using a piece of bubble wrap, your child can create adorable bubble wrap Christmas trees with just a few supplies.
Simply cut out the shape of a Christmas tree from the bubble wrap, grab a paintbrush and some festive-colored paint, and let them stamp away! This bubble wrap stamp project isn’t just much fun—it’s also a great way to develop fine motor skills. Add a tree trunk with brown paper and finish the top of the trees with shiny star stickers for a magical touch.
Step-By-Step Instructions
First, cut out the shape of a pine tree from a bubble wrap.
Then, paint over the bubbles with green paint. (I chose to paint with three shades of different greens.)
After that, lay the painted side down onto the piece of paper. Tap lightly to ensure that all the paint transfers to the paper.
Finally, lift carefully, revealing a tree print!
Decorating the Star
Now, it is time to decorate the Christmas tree with a star. I painted the wooden star with gold paint and then sprinkled it generously with gold glitter while the paint was still wet. Shake off the excess glitter, and Ta-da! Your star is ready to adorn your Christmas tree.

Process Art
Process art is essential for early childhood years since it helps the body and brain to integrate tactile information in a creative way. Moreover, Process art is perfect for little artists since the focus is placed on the creation of the work and not the outcome! During this fun, artistic process, your child learns how colors work while developing spatial awareness and sensory integration. And it’s an extremely rewarding and fun process for all ages!
