Christmas Tree Bubble-Wrap Craft
You’ll Need for Christmas Tree Bubble-Wrap Craft
- sheet of recycled bubble wrap ( from packaging, especially if the content is fragile)
- scissors
- paints in shades of green
- a paintbrush
- white card stock
- a wooden star
- gold paint
- silver and gold glitter
Instructions
First, from a sheet of bubble wrap, cut out the shape of a pine tree.
Then, paint over the bubbles with green paint. (I chose to paint with three shades of different greens.)
After that, lay the painted side down onto the piece of paper. Tap lightly to ensure that all the paint transfers to the paper.
Finally, lift carefully, revealing a tree print!
Decorating the Star
Now, it is time to decorate the Christmas tree with a star. I painted the wooden star with gold paint and then sprinkled it generously with gold glitter while the paint was still wet. Shake off the excess glitter, and Ta-da! Your star is ready to adorn your Christmas tree.

Process Art
Process art is essential for early childhood years since it helps the body and brain to integrate tactile information in a creative way. Moreover, Process art is perfect for little artists since the focus is placed on the creation of the work and not the outcome! During this fun artistic process, your child learns how colors work while developing spatial awareness and sensory integration. And it’s an extremely rewarding and fun process for all ages!
