"Yesterday, we had a blizzard, but today it is nice and sunny on our farm. The snow sparkles in the sun, covering the farm with a glittering blanket of heavenly white snowflakes, each unique in its beauty and intricate design. Animals are out to feed and enjoy this wonderful day …"
I believe that pretend play is very important in child's development (I wrote about it here), so my children love using their imagination, while playing out different scenes. For example, they love going to the farm and feed the animals, so today, due to warm weather and complete dearth of snow, we are bringing winter wonderland to our farm. Did I mention, we love snow!
We are using our Farm Animals and a Brio tractor.
It is night time at our snowed-in farm. Children had so much fun with it! Do you incorporate pretend play in your activities?
