Learn how to make this super easy cellophane dinosaur suncatcher craft. Besides, sun catchers are a great kids’ craft for a homeschool activity, as a classroom project, for a dinosaur party, or just a fun craft. Most importantly, you can use recycled materials and leftover bits and pieces of cellophane.
You’ll Need for Cellophane Dinosaur Suncatcher Craft
- a paper plate
- scissors
- glue
- googly eyes
- cellophane
- transfer tape
Instructions
First, draw dinosaur parts on a paper plate. You can also come up with your own design.
Then cut out the head, and the inside of the plate.
Next, turn the plate over and color it. We are using quick-drying tempera sticks.
Lastly, adhere transfer tape with the sticky side facing up. Finally, cut the cellophane into small pieces (or use leftovers) and decorate the sticky side.
When it comes to suncatcher crafts, you can make them as simple (with just a few colors) or as complicated and ornate as you want. Besides, the end product makes a beautiful decoration for your window or even a wall. Most importantly, with this activity, a child works on dexterity skills and precision while promoting fine motor control and hand-eye coordination.
