Frosty The Snowman bubble-wrap printing toddler-friendly kids craft to spur creativity and promote motor control even in the youngest artists. [Video tutorial is included.]
Let’s make a Frosty The Snowman bubble-wrap printing craft! This art process is so simple, yet the result is stunning. Besides, you will be using materials you probably already have, like paints, a paintbrush, and recycled bubble wrap. Most importantly, this craft is suitable even for the youngest artists, as we will be using a palm brush that even a nine-month-old can hold. So, grab your bubble wrap and let’s get crafty!
Snowman Bubble-Wrap Printing Craft
It’s toddler- friendly, the mess level is low and you probably already have all the materials handy!
You’ll Need
- bubble wrap (look for recycled one in packaging, especially if fragile)
- white paint
- a paintbrush
- scissors
- black construction paper
- optional: foam glitter paper, a bow, sticks, and a mop
Snowman Bubble-Wrap Printing Craft Instructions
First, cut out three circle shapes from the bubble wrap, each progressively bigger than the other. Arrange them on paper to make sure they fit and form a snowman. After that, pick one circle and paint over the bubbles with white paint. Then press it down onto the black paper, tap lightly and lift carefully, revealing a circular print! Do the same for the other two circles.
Now, you have a printed snowman, and it is time to decorate it. I cut out the hat and a nose from adhesive glitter foam and glued a bow. You can decorate your Frosty in ways that best fit your view of him.
